Talonmore is a spirit born and raised in Edinburgh. Only established in 2020, they are definitely shaking up the non-alcoholic industry and I’d put them as a one to watch. In 2022, Talonmore was awarded Silver at the International Wine and Spirits Competition scoring an impressive 92 points out of 100.
The new batch of Talonmore includes a brand-new look & feel, with an upgraded label and eye-catching flagship red foil.
Using a mix of rooted and plant-based ingredients, Talonmore can be used to replicate spirit strength drinks in a multitude of non-alcoholic cocktails and beverages. Talonmore’s distinctive taste is fired by the spice of ginger and cinnamon whilst complemented with malty notes and fruit sweetness.

If you are a lover of ginger like me, then this is one drink you’ll want permanently in your drinks cabinet (although once opened it needs to be refrigerated and consumed within 60 days - which shouldn’t be a problem as once you try this, I reckon you’ll be pouring yourself a cheeky wee drink most weekdays).
Talonmore is 0% ABV and brewed with Scottish water. The key superfoods; ginger, prickly pear, hawthorn berry and Assam tea have recognised health benefits in their own right, and when combined together offer a full bodied, fiery taste that replicates the pleasant burn of alcohol.
On first taste, the ginger hits your palate, smack bang straight up. There’s a fieriness to it but its more-ish and you’ll keep going back for another sip. I love this neat as a quick shot and could quite easily replace this with my ginger ‘health’ shot in the mornings. I can see this being divine over ice on a hot day too.
As ginger is the prevalent flavour, lime is going to work so well with this. I went for a classic mocktail of Talonmore with ginger ale, a mega squeeze of lime over ice. It is so good!
