FOOD : Review of Down the Hatch, Edinburgh, late night menu

Down the Hatch started in South Queensferry and soon opened another branch in Antigua Street, Edinburgh. I’m so glad they did as their food is rather scrumptious!

In Edinburgh, Down the Hatch has become synonymous with dirty fries and poutine, filthy burgers and messy wings, that are lip smackingly delicious and have you queuing up for more.

This is such a welcomed post 10pm eating option in Edinburgh as there are very few places where you can grab a bite to eat after 10pm especially on a Friday and Saturday night. Down the Hatch, Antigua Street is perfectly located at the top of Leith Walk, close to the Playhouse, Bus station, Train station, St James Quarter and Princes Street.

No reservations required, just walk on in! They are also dog friendly too, so if you’re out with your pooch, feel free to bring them along!
