NEWS : The Apple of our Eye - Lagg Distillery Orchard Cider now available

Lagg Distillery on The Isle of Arran are delighted to announce the first ever harvest of apples from their orchard as they officially launch their exclusive ‘Lagg Distillery Orchard Cider’ crafted in collaboration with Ayrshire Riviera Cider.

The team at Lagg Distillery hope that the limited-edition bottling will become a brand-new tradition. As they launch the special cider, which is the first of its kind for the distillery, they only have 300 bottles for sale. Available to purchase only from Lagg Distillery, with plans to make more in the pipeline, however this could take some time as they wait for their new apple harvest. The team also have ambitions to create their own cider brandy from the Lagg Orchard apples.

Nestled around the distillery, their three orchards feature approximately 2,000 trees, a harmonious blend of cider and dessert apple varieties which they use to create the exclusive orchard cider. Much like a very good whisky, there is a lot of work behind the scenes that goes into the creation of craft cider. As it is a distillery exclusive, only visitors to Lagg will have the opportunity to pick up a bottle of the rare cider and try it for themselves.

Priced at £13.99 for a 750ml bottle, this special release is available only at LAGG Distillery on the Isle of Arran.
