PRODUCT : Bodega Bay Hard Seltzer

I first tried Hard Seltzers in the US so when the opportunity to sample them here in the UK arose, I said yes and was pretty excited to Bodega Bay.

REVIEW OF BODEGA BAY HARD SELTZER

So what is a hard seltzer?

It’s not something we are over familiar with in the UK but we should be. Essentially, its alcoholic sparkling water often fruit flavoured. The new alcopop!

I sampled 3 flavours

  • Elderflower, lemon and mint

  • Apple, ginger and acai berry

  • Cherry, mango and gogi berry (new flavour)

All three flavours are light and bubbly, super refreshing and absolutely perfect for a Summers Day. The cans are easy to transport, so a picnic by the river or a daytrip to the beach, will certainly become more effervescent.

They’re low in calories, low in sugar, gluten free and vegan and best of all, they taste superb. If you are watching your weight or wanting to cut down on the naughty stuff whilst still enjoying yourself, why not swap you Gin and Slimline Tonic for one of these…

Every flavour is lovely and it was hard to pick a favourite, but I have to go with the Elderflower - a mixture of Summer freshness, with a zing and a bit of zang. I loved them so much, I ordered another box.

Bodega Bay are available in Morrisons, Amazon, Harvey Nichols, and at Drake & Morgan outlets - The Refinery St Andrews (Edinburgh).
