$Last weekend I got to drive this beaut of a car. @virtuo_uk have just launched in Scotland and I have to say it is by far the easiest car rental process I have ever encountered. You book online ~ they only have luxury Mercedes Benz cars available ~ you choose your car and upload your drivers licence and pay online. They do all the checking, but you need to compete a DVLA check which takes minutes. Download the app on your photo and you're ready to collect your car. In Edinburgh they are based at the Omni Q Park and you use your phone to unlock and lock your car. {make sure your phone is charged all the time}. The app keeps track of your distance travelled and how full your petrol tank is. When you've finished your hire, you return it to the same spot, end the hire on your app and lock the car. Done. I chose the @mercedesbenzuk GLA 200 SUV and it was an absolute dream to drive. Fully automatic with stop/start it breezed through city traffic and loved an open motorway. This is the way to see Scotland.
