On the Meet the Producer Tour with the Outer Hebrides, Salar Salmon set up a tasting for us at Charlies Bistro. The tables were laden with boards of delicious hot and cold smoked salmon and their truly exceptional smoked scallops!

The delicate and buttery smoked scallops are infused with a tantalising smoky aroma, adding depth and complexity to their already exquisite flavour. WOW!

Salar Smokehouse are one of many small business across the Outer Hebrides that are producing incredible produce. The smokehouse employs a team of 6 dedicated and highly skilled local people all year round and also employs seasonal staff during peak times throughout the year.

They continue to win awards, having already clocked up over 40 awards (including Great British Food Award and Great Taste Award) for their smoked salmon in the last 20 years!
