MOCKTAIL RECIPE : Talmore Roar to celebrate World Health Day

To celebrate World Health Day on 7th April, fiery ginger-infused, non-alcoholic spirit Talonmore has teamed-up with mushroom supplement specialists Antioxi to create the 'Talonmore Roar' - a brand-new cocktail boasting extraordinary health benefits and unique characteristics.

Crafted by mixologists at Nightcap Cocktail Bar in Edinburgh, the serve fuses Talonmore with Antioxi's ‘Lion's Mane’ supplement creating an unconventional alcohol-free take on the traditional Dark & Stormy cocktail.

The 'Talonmore Roar' aims to showcase the cognitive health & wellbeing benefits provided by both non-alcoholic spirits & mushroom supplements. Talonmore & Antioxi products are available to purchase on the brand websites, so health enthusiasts can mix the cocktail for themselves at-home.

Talonmore blends deliciously with light tonic water, while the unique flavour of the Lion’s Mane is complemented with the fruit sweetness of an orange wedge garnish, culminating in a burst of bubbling, refreshing ginger at the forefront.

Talonmore is 0% ABV and brewed with Scottish water; fired by the spice of ginger and Assam tea it contains key superfoods including prickly pear and hawthorn berry, both with recognised health benefits. Alcohol-free spirits are also linked to improved sleep and energy, enhanced memory and a better immune system.

Lion’s Mane, an age-old mushroom with roots in Asia, holds a rich history of culinary and medicinal practices dating back thousands of years. It has gained increased popularity due to its potential mental and physical health benefits; playing a pivotal role in brain health, the supplement supports memory & cognition, anxiety & mood, nerve tissue health and better sleep.

Talonmore is a Scottish based, family run business established in Edinburgh in 2020. Using a mix of rooted and plant-based ingredients and inspired by Edinburgh’s festival spirit and history of innovation, Talonmore was created to provide an exceptional alcohol-free drink that can be enjoyed without compromising health, clarity and taste.

Named as 2024 Men’s Health and Good Housekeeping’s best non-alcoholic spirit, the liquid’s versatility is what makes it shine in cocktails. Choosing brewing methods of manufacture, rather than distilling, Talonmore has developed a unique beverage that ensures flavour is at the forefront, replicating the experience of drinking a dark spirit. The latest batch of Talonmore includes a new look and feel, with an upgraded label and eye-catching flagship red foil.

Antioxi is a company that specialises in organic certified mushroom supplements. Aiming to bring the spotlight back onto the medicinal benefits of mushrooms, providing transparency and focus on the genuine health benefits of mushrooms is at the heart of everything they do.

With over 8 million adults in the UK looking to reduce their alcohol intake, Talonmore is designed to shake up the non-alcoholic drinks market by championing the adventurous lifestyle that would normally be sacrificed with traditional alcohol.
